Nicola Sherwood  is a graduate of London College of Fashion. She received her BA (hons) in Surface Textiles Design Technology for Womenswear, specializing in knitwear design.  Translating developments of research into her knitwear, she aspires to create original and innovative stitches by playing with technique, scale, texture and structure, resulting in fine organic patterning.  


A native of San Antonio, Texas, Nicola came to live in London the summer of 2007, starting her design studies at the London College Fashion. During her time at LCF, she interned with Alexander McQueen, accompanying the team to Paris for the SS10 Plato's Atlantis show. She went on to internship with Louise Goldin, MF1 and Celine, as well as freelanced for Elliot Atkinson, Valerie Voon and Façonnable.


From October 2012 to May 2013, Nicola worked as an Assistant Designer at Vivienne Westwood, specifically working on the Red Label Japan team. There she co-developed styles in both woven and knit.

In May 2013, Nicola moved to Victoria Beckham RTW as a Knitwear Design and Development Assistant.  Since joining the VBL team she has been promoted to Knitwear Design and Development Coordinator and more recently to Design and Development Manager, heading a team of 3. Nicola and her team design and develop 4 knitwear collections a year and travel biannually to New York for the Victoria Beckham RTW Show.
